Listed edible oil producer Kernel Holding increased grain sales by 5.1% y/y in Q2 of fiscal 2015 ended on December 31 and increase bulk oil sales by 6/2% in the period, the firm said in a set of operating results ahead of its fuller Q2 results.

Listed edible oil producer Kernel Holding increased grain sales by 5.1% y/y in Q2 of fiscal 2015 ended on December 31 and increase bulk oil sales by 6/2% in the period, the firm said in a set of operating results ahead of its fuller Q2 results.

Increase in grain sales "reflects improved production of [Kernel's] own farming division," the firm said.

 

Sales of bottled oil rose by 13.2% y/y to 34.2 mln litres, with the growth driven by higher export sales, the statement showed.
