Coal sales in Poland fall to 5.5 mln tons in January 2015; inventories bloat up

Poland's coal sales fell to 5.5 mln tons in January 2015 versus 6.1 mln tons in January 2014, industry restructuring agency ARP informed on Friday.

ARP data encompass all domestic coal miners.

 

Coal inventories grew to 8.3 mln tons at end-January from 6.7 mln tons a year before.

 

Employment in the sector stood at 102.9k at end-January, ARP said.
