Tauron power won't recommend dividend payment for 2016 - filing

TAG'S:

Listed power group Tauron will recommend its shareholders covering the 2016 loss of PLN 166.3 mln with prior-year profits, and won't seek a payout from retained capital, Tauron said in a market filing.

The decision is tied to Tauron's investment program of ca. PLN 18 bln to 2020 and the need to keep net debt to EBITDA capped at 3.5x, the firm said.

Back in November 2016 Tauron said it should be able to return to regular dividend payments as of 2020.
