PGNiG gas inks deal for additional LNG supplies from Qatargas, annual volume to rise to 2.0 mln tons


Listed natural gas group PGNiG contracted additional supplies of LNG from Qatar Liquefied Gas (Qatargas) with annual volume of supplies under the long-term contract to rise to 2 mln tons in years 2018-2034, the company said in a market filing.

In years 2018-2020, supplies will be higher, at 2.17 mln tons annually or some 2.9 bln cubic meters, PGNiG said.


" . . . pricing terms of the Side Agreement are satisfactory and in line with PGNiG's Strategy to optimize its gas portfolio management and are expected to have a positive impact on the PGNiG Capital Group financial results," the filing read.


Deliveries will run from the beginning of 2018 to June 2034.
