JSW miner will recommend no dividend from 2016 profit

TAG'S:

Listed coking and coal firm JSW will ask shareholders to forego a dividend from 2016 profits, management said in a market filing.

"In light of the need to rebuild reserve capital and retained earnings drained in prior years, the board will not recommend payment of a dividend to the shareholder meeting," the firm said in its statement.

 

According to its dividend policy, JSW should recommend paymnent of at least 30% of profits, management reminded.
